“The Ghostfoiler” – Unmanned Hydrofoiling Maritime Drone

The Ghostfoiler is a Swedish technology demonstrator showcasing the future of autonomous maritime operations. Developed through a collaboration combining advanced hydrofoil technology, electric propulsion, autonomous systems and composite hull design, the platform demonstrates how low-signature vessels can deliver significant operational advantages in demanding maritime environments.

The initiative builds on technologies developed and refined through decades of research at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, with the objective of maturing and commercializing innovative solutions for future dual-use maritime applications.

The Ghostfoiler demonstrator has a maximum total weight of approximately 500 kg, a target speed of up to 25 knots and a flexible range depending on mission profile and installed battery capacity.

The Ghostfoiler initiative is ran by Evolofoil, Zparq and Aston Harald Composite.

THE SWEDISH BIKE PROJECT

The idea began with a question: what is truly possible when development, materials, and manufacturing are brought together in a new context?

That question became the starting point for a project in which we are steadily working toward developing and producing advanced carbon fiber frames in Sweden, from the drawing board to the starting line.
